Creech AFB, NV Housing and Relocation Information
Indian Springs, right next to Creech, is a military town used to airmen and the facts of Air Force life. Landlords understand military release clauses and the town has a high population of other airmen. It is also a small town in the middle of the desert, and some airmen or spouses want to live in a larger community.
Nellis AFB is right next to the city of North Las Vegas, and many airmen take the base-to-base shuttle; this is a two hour round-trip commute. The city of Las Vegas is well known as the "entertainment capital of the world" and being a serious nightlife and resort city; the city of North Las Vegas has some of this, and shares a border with the more famous city, but is also a technology center and home to a large number of community-minded, socially conservative people. The cities around this installation are Indian Springs, Cactus Springs, North Las Vegas, Las Vegas, and Henderson.
